Introduction to Occupational Therapy Assistant (Invitation Only) – Online (Remote) – College of Nursing and Health Care Professions
Are you passionate about shaping future health care leaders and helping students discover their purpose? The College of Nursing and Health Care Professions at GCU is seeking knowledgeable, mission-driven Adjunct Faculty to teach Introduction to Occupational Therapy on our main campus.
What You Will Do
- Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction using innovative teaching methods and current industry technologies
- Maintain compliance with accreditation standards
- Model the holistic tenets of the nursing profession and uphold the University’s mission and pillars
- Facilitate meaningful classroom discussions, assess student learning, and prepare students for leadership roles in health care
- Support program initiatives and demonstrate alignment with the philosophy and direction of the University
- Provide a positive example by supporting GCU’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission
What You Will Bring
- A Master’s/Doctorate Degree in any field.
- Must have an active, current, unencumbered, unrestricted OT or OTA license In Arizona with 2 or more years of professional experience in occupational therapy.
- Preferred: Previous teaching experience in occupational therapy at the postsecondary level.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build supportive relationships with students
- Proficiency in English, grammar, and APA writing
