This is a global and highly cross-functional role, with responsibility across our entire supply chain, logistics, and transportation operations. As a key member of our team, you'll build strong relationships with your colleagues and stakeholders, while also demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit and a ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Act as the primary legal counsel for all global supply chain and logistics matters and initiatives, including as the primary contact for the logistics leadership team. * Provide end-to-end value-added support, including planning, organizing, and drafting complex business transactions and managing contract templates and client and provider-facing program agreements. * Conditional workstreams include: + Acquisition efforts (e.g., sea carrier arrangements, transportation and delivery carrier acquisition, and vendor agreements for consolidation, export, and other origin services); + Service offerings (e.g., warehousing, fulfillment, sea, cart, and combination sales templates and terms); + Critical partnerships. * Collaborate intimately with the business to build and maintain flexible compliance programs and manage a unified compliance database for regulated activities (e.g., FMC and Dab compliance). * Drive efficiency in higher volume workstreams, utilizing templates, playbooks, and self-service. * Work closely with other lawyers in the Legal department and across the business as a supply chain subject matter expert. **What You'll Need** * Years of relevant legal experience, with related knowledge in business supply chain and sea shipping related. * J.D. with top academic qualifications and membership with at least one state bar. * A predisposition to action, including an eagerness to roll-up sleeves, contribute, and handle complex issues with the broader arenaflex team, including both legal and non-legal partners. * Profoundly effective, business-savvy, and persuasive writing and communication skills, including excellent discussion and relationship-building abilities. * Project management experience and the ability to prioritize, multitask, meet time constraints, and maintain flexibility in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. **About the Role** This position will be based in our Boston office with a hybrid work schedule, 4 days in office and 1 day remote every week. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and initiatives, from acquisition efforts to service offerings and critical partnerships.
