Description About the Role Evergreen Mentorship is seeking a passionate, client-centered Mental Health Counselor to join our growing team. This role is designed for licensed clinicians who value flexibility and autonomy while making a tangible impact through 1:1 therapeutic work. Your Impact - Direct Counseling: Provide individual therapy to clients navigating mental health, emotional challenges, and substance use concerns. - Goal-Oriented Therapy: Deliver prevention-focused care and develop individualized treatment plans. - Collaboration: Partner with community providers and placement agencies to ensure comprehensive client support. - Documentation: Maintain high-quality, timely clinical documentation. - Caseload Management: Manage a minimum caseload of at least 10 clients. Qualifications - Ohio License (REQUIRED): Active Ohio mental health license; applicants without this will not be considered. - Clinical Experience: Prior experience in mental health counseling or related clinical settings. - Rapport Building: Exceptional ability to quickly build trust and rapport with a diverse client base. - Leadership: Self-directed professional with natural leadership qualities and a heart for service. - Communication: Strong written and verbal skills.
