This is a remote position.
We are seeking an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant / Senior Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and system optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FP&A and hands-on expertise in building and enhancing models within Workday Adaptive Planning, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain financial models in Workday Adaptive Planning from the ground up
- Collaborate with FP&A and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
- Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Develop and maintain process documentation, user guides, and training materials
- Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support
- Manage and support integrations between Adaptive and other financial/enterprise systems
- Drive system enhancements, improvements, and best practice adoption
- Assist in implementation, upgrades, and optimization initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Workday Adaptive Planning in financial systems, FP&A, or business systems roles
- Demonstrated experience in Adaptive implementation or major enhancement projects
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Experience building complex financial models independently
- Hands-on experience with system integrations (e.g., SAP, Workday HCM, Snowflake, Power BI, or similar tools)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Looking for someone to work PST or EST hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday Adaptive Planning Certification
- Experience in a high-tech, fast-growing, or publicly traded SaaS company
- Exposure to data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Experience working in Agile or cross-functional environments
