We’re looking for US-based Japanese speakers to participate in a paid voice recording project for voice AI training.
We’re casting multiple voice profiles (male and female). We want voices that sound real, natural, and conversational — not character acting.
What This Is
Your voice will be recorded to help train a voice AI model.
You’ll read a short prepared Japanese script (and possibly 1–2 brief prompts).
This is not an accent project — we want your natural Japanese.
Responsibilities
Record ~5 minutes of Japanese audio from a provided script
Maintain clear, consistent pacing and pronunciation
Follow simple recording instructions (quiet room, stable mic)
Sign a release allowing use of recordings for AI voice training
Requirements
Must be located in the United States
Native / near-native / heritage Japanese speaker (please specify)
Clear speech and comfortable reading aloud
Ability to record high-quality audio remotely (phone acceptable if quiet and clear; mic preferred)
Session Details
Recording Length: ~5 minutes total
Location: 100% remote
Usage: Voice AI training
Compensation: Fixed pay — please include your rate for a 5-minute recording
