Mercor is recruiting **Strategic Finance Analysts - FP&A** with strong corporate finance experience to work as part-time consultants for a leading AI company developing next-generation financial tools. You will collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to help design, refine, and evaluate tools built for FP&A professionals.

### **Responsibilities:**
- Provide input on financial planning models, forecasting processes, and variance analysis
- Break down real-life FP&A workflows for machine learning applications
- Evaluate the functionality and accuracy of AI-generated finance tools
- Share feedback on usability and practical edge cases across budgeting, planning, and strategic initiatives
- Participate in periodic feedback sessions and workflow mapping exercises

### **You are a good fit if you:**
- Have **2+ years experience** in corporate FP&A, preferably at a mid-to-large company
- Are comfortable with core FP&A functions like financial modeling, budget vs actual analysis, and long-range planning
- Have experience with tools such as Excel, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Oracle, or Workday Adaptive
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Can distill finance logic clearly for a non-finance (technical/AI) audience
- Are curious and eager to work at the intersection of finance and cutting-edge technology

This position pays **$90-$120/hr** (depending on your background, experience and location). However, exceptions can be made on a discretionary basis to offer competitive pay for those with exceptional experience.
