The role
We’re looking for a Senior Platform & Data Architect to help design and deliver an internal platform that improves how data and workflows are structured across the business. This is a hands-on role combining architecture, data automation, and system implementation—ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, ambiguity, and delivering sustainable solutions.
What you’ll do
• Own the architecture and delivery of a scalable internal platform (end-to-end, not just concepts)
• Translate business needs into clear technical designs and working systems
• Build and improve data pipelines, integrations, and automation
• Establish clean foundations for data reliability, reporting, and operational tooling
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Germany and the US
What you bring (must-have)
• Proven experience building and delivering internal platforms or systems in a hands-on way
• Strong skills in Python and SQL
• Solid understanding of data architecture, system design, and integration patterns
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with ownership and autonomy
• Fluent professional English (spoken + written)
Nice to have
• Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or other regulated/financial domains
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern data tooling
Location & working model
• Remote-first across Germany and the US (offices available).
• Relocation to Germany supported by Transparent Hiring if the candidate is based outside Germany.
