**The Core Advertising Team**
Our Advertising team is dedicated to building a best-in-class ads organization that establishes arenaflex as the premier platform for advertiser partners. We're looking for a Senior Ads Revenue Accountant to partner with cross-functional teams to establish and scale multiple aspects of our growing ads business.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Senior Ads Revenue Accountant, Customer Incentives Lead, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing revenue recognition guidance, including technical memo preparation, for new products, features, and pricing changes introduced as part of arenaflex's ads business.
* Acting as the primary Revenue Accounting point of contact in the contract negotiation and execution of US and/or Global revenue partnerships with large US brands and agencies.
* Operating in a cross-functional working group to determine which customer incentives should be awarded to incentivize customer behavior and which customer remediation efforts should be provided based on product or delivery errors.
* Ensuring updates to rate cards, pricing policies, and/or flat fee prices impacting new products/ features are reflected in both upstream and downstream system(s).
* Liaising with Sales, Sales Ops, Product, and Engineering to oversee the repository of contractual terms, incentive arrangements, and customer offerings to ensure items are captured in relevant systems and revenue is recognized accurately and completely.
* Understanding and analyzing relevant ads revenue drivers and the impact on internally and externally reported business metrics.
* Collaborating with our international finance and international tax teams to bridge US GAAP and Statutory/Local reporting requirements.
* Driving ongoing operational process improvements along with Sales Ops, infrastructure engineering, Pricing Team, and Workday ERP teams.

**Education and Experience**
* Minimum of 5 years of prior accounting experience.
* Experience working at an advertising technology, media company, and/or Ad Agency/HoldCo.
* Proven project management experience and demonstrated ability to drive process improvements.
* Prior Deal Desk type work, reviewing complex revenue contracts and thinking through both technical and operational accounting solutions.
* Experience reviewing and accounting for customer ad credits/ bonus media (often referred to as Added Value or Makegoods).
* Experience with CRM and/or OMS.
* Experience automating or scaling revenue-related workstreams.
**Bonus Experience - Not Required But Are a Plus!**
* Experience with Workday Financials or other cloud-based ERP systems.
**Compensation and Benefits**
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000 - $240,000.
