[Remote] Security Analyst

The Security Analyst role involves responding to security alerts, conducting investigations, and collaborating with teams to mitigate security incidents while ensuring client communication throughout the process. Responsibilities - Respond to security alerts and incidents in client environments relating to Email, Cloud and Endpoint Security - Conduct investigations of security incidents and anomalies to determine the scope, impact, and root causes - Collaborate with the Security Operations team to assess the urgency of each alert, as necessary - Perform incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery, to minimize the impact of security incidents - Document all actions taken during incident response process for future analysis and improvement - Coordinate with clients during the incident response process, keeping them informed about the progress and involving them in decision-making - Serve as a point of contact for client support requests related to security incidents, platform usage and break/fix issues, promptly addressing and resolving technical issues or escalating them to the appropriate teams - Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and support to resolve customer issues, feature requests, and improvement opportunities - Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to provide valuable insights to the sales team Skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent work experience - Thorough understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, including hardware, software, networking, and cloud services - Demonstrated expertise in how various platforms and technologies integrate to create comprehensive solutions - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and understand their business needs - Ability to understand, interpret, and apply common security standards and frameworks such as NIST, 800-53, CIS, SOX, and ISO-27001 - Experience with security technologies including, SentinelOne, Abnormal Security, Microsoft, Rapid7 IDR, Rapid7 IVM, Wizer, KnowBe4, etc - Solid understanding of major operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux) - Experience with IT infrastructure, networking, and software solutions - Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members and clients - Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and tools - Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively in a fast-paced environment - Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior and effort to achieve goals and objectives - Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines - Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance - Demonstrates excellent time management and prioritization skills - Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy - The ability to multi task, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information Company Overview - Acrisure Cyber Services is a peerless technology partner to businesses who want to take their IT and cybersecurity in the right direction.
