[Remote] Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will coordinate various project activities, communicate with stakeholders, track project progress, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities - Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, success criteria, tasks, timelines, resources, and risk mitigation strategies - Facilitate clear and effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring alignment and timely information sharing - Organize, support, and document regular project status meetings, capturing key discussions, decisions, and action items - Track and maintain project schedules and timelines, ensuring milestones are met and tasks are completed on schedule - Monitor project deliverables for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements through regular reviews and quality checks - Identify, monitor, and escalate risks, issues, or deviations from project plans, proposing solutions or contingency actions as needed - Coordinate project resources, monitor utilization, and recommend adjustments to support project priorities - Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and stakeholder updates, highlighting progress, challenges, and achievements - Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on processes, sharing lessons learned, and participating in post‑project evaluations - Perform other duties as assigned Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in project management software and tools - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to work independently and as a part of a team - An eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges as part of a remote team - Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills - Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or equivalent combination of education and experience - Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders at one time Benefits - Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans - Generous 401k matching structure of up to 5% of eligible pay - Invest an additional 4% into your retirement saving fund after your first year of continuous employment - Paid time off, including vacation, holiday, sick, and volunteer days Company Overview - UL Standards & Engagement translates scientific discoveries into standards and policies for public safety.
