They are looking to hire a Credentialing Assistant to assist in the contracting and credentialing process for physicians and health practitioners, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Gather and verify credentials, licenses, and certifications for healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in credentialing databases
- Assist in preparing credentialing applications for facilities and insurance companies, including CAQH reviews
- Communicate with providers to obtain necessary documentation and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
- Collaborate with the credentialing team to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Manage incoming daily calls and review received mail
Skills
- At least 1+ years of experience in credentialing
- Strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills
- MUST live in one of the following states: CA, CO, FL, KS, MD, MO, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WY
