We’re looking for an experienced Marketing & Data Analyst / Growth Consultant to help us analyze and optimize a subscription-based Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) product. Our platform serves a high volume of users and operates on a trial-to-subscription model, so the core focus of this role is to increase retention and improve trial-to-paid conversion rates through data-driven insights and actionable recommendations. What You’ll Be Doing: - Analyze user behavior across the full funnel: Trial signup → engagement → conversion → retention → churn - Identify key drop-off points and friction areas in the user journey - Segment users based on behavior, cohorts, and acquisition channels - Evaluate pricing, offers, and trial structure performance - Audit onboarding flows, product usage patterns, and engagement metrics - Provide clear, actionable recommendations to improve: Trial conversion rate Member retention (short-term and long-term) - Suggest and prioritize A/B tests (pricing, UX, messaging, offers, etc.) - Work closely with our internal team to interpret findings and guide implementation strategy What We’re Looking For: - Proven experience with subscription-based products (SaaS or DaaS preferred) - Strong background in: Product analytics, Marketing analytics Conversion rate optimization (CRO), Retention strategy - Experience working with trial-based subscription models is a must - Ability to turn complex data into clear business insights and recommendations - Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar - Experience analyzing pricing strategies, churn drivers, and lifecycle metrics Ideal Candidate: - Has worked on high-volume consumer subscription products - Understands short retention cycles and how to extend LTV - Comfortable identifying quick wins as well as long-term strategic improvements - Thinks like both a data analyst and growth marketer Important Notes: ❌ No agencies — we are looking for an individual consultant with deep expertise - This is a strategy + analysis role, not just reporting - We value actionable insights over dashboards Project Scope: - Initial deep-dive analysis + recommendations - Potential for ongoing consulting based on performance and results To Apply Please include: - Examples of similar work (especially subscription or trial-based products) - Specific results you’ve driven (e.g., improved retention %, conversion lift, etc.) - Your approach to analyzing and improving trial conversion + retention
