Senior Regulatory Advisor – Professional Standards
We are recruiting for full time fixed term (various lengths up to 12months) opportunities that can be based in any Ahpra location.
About the Role
This is a senior role within the team, delivering consistent, service‑oriented and person centred engagement with individuals involved in the notifications process and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. The role provides expert regulatory advice to support high quality case management in line with legislation, policy, risk thresholds and agreed principles. It also plays a key role in fostering a positive performance culture, supporting staff wellbeing, and driving the consistent, timely and sustainable management of notifications.
About you
You are an analytical and strategic thinker, skilled at navigating complex with the ability to distil complex information into clear, professional briefings and reports. You demonstrate sound judgement and timely decision‑making, bringing deep knowledge of the National Law to guide the Board through challenging circumstances. As a people‑focused leader, you manage and support direct reports in a fast‑paced and innovative environment, leading with empathy and care, particularly when dealing with sensitive or traumatic matters, and contributing to a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and shared purpose.
