Our Client is hiring a Geotechnical/Civil/Structural Principal SME
Required:
Experience in geotechnical engineering, performing field investigations, reviewing laboratory data, developing geotechnical reports and recommendations, observing construction activities (8 years);
Experience reviewing specifications and drawings, analyzing complex geotechnical issues, and managing complex geotechnical projects (8 years);
Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure in at least one United States jurisdiction;
Masters degree in Civil Engineering.
Preferred:
Experience in steps required to create buildable designs.
Responsibilities:
Deliver responsive support for wind, solar, energy storage, clean fuels, substation, and transmission projects.
Participate in design and constructability reviews, providing accurate feedback to avoid schedule impacts.
Support the resolution of critical execution-phase issues to protect project budgets and schedules.
Assist in defining project requirements and scope, including the assessment of execution risks and development of mitigation strategies.
Secure and coordinate external engineering consulting expertise when supplemental professional opinions are required.
Perform annual specification reviews and incorporate lessons learned into best practices.
Perform technical evaluations related to emerging technologies, equipment, and materials.

Required:
Experience in geotechnical engineering, performing field investigations, reviewing laboratory data, developing geotechnical reports and recommendations, observing construction activities (4 years);
Bachelors degree in civil engineering.
Preferred:
Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure in at least one United States jurisdiction.
Responsibilities:
Deliver responsive engineering support for wind, solar, energy storage, clean fuels, substation, and transmission projects;
Participate in design and constructability reviews to provide feedback and avoid schedule impacts;
