**Key Responsibilities**
As a Senior UX Designer on our team, you'll be responsible for:
* **Innovative Idea Generation**: Develop and launch new ideas and step-change improvements that raise the bar on customer experience with delivery.
* **Customer Advocacy**: Effectively advocate and design for the customer through objective data such as market analysis, customer insights, technical constraints/opportunities, and business insights.
* **Collaboration and Partnership**: Partner closely with business and development teams to plan and balance immediate changes with long-term, scalable solutions.
* **Design and Prototyping**: Quickly and thoroughly create user flows, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes to effectively concept and communicate detailed interaction behaviors that support decision making and development.
* **Validation and Optimization**: Assess and optimize the effectiveness of new and existing features by proactively planning, performing, and advocating validation techniques like usability testing, user research, and interpreting analytic data.
* **Presentation and Communication**: Present design work to UX partners, cross-disciplinary teams, and executive leaders.

**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* **8+ years of design experience**: A strong background in UX design, with a proven track record of developing and launching new ideas and step-change improvements.
* **Available online portfolio**: A portfolio that showcases your design skills, experience, and achievements.
* **User data acquisition and analysis**: Experience acquiring user data through usability studies, user research, and creating personas and journey maps.
* **Hands-on visual design**: Experience with visual design tools like Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, or similar.
* **Best practices for Product and Experience Design**: Experience with best practices for Product and Experience Design, including User Interfaces, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design.
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
* **Scrum experience**: Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes.
* **Complex workflow design**: Experience designing complex workflows.
* **Customer-facing retail products**: Experience designing customer-facing retail products.
**Compensation and Benefits**
arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, you may also be eligible for equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package.
