Key Responsibilities Utilize the ANA Nursing Process (2010) to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Coordinate care delivery and promote health and a safe environment through health teaching and health promotion. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly. Provide leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession by staying current with best practices and integrating research findings into practice. Practice within the legal scope of a Registered Professional Nurse as outlined by the state of South Dakota and deliver competent care consistent with standards, policies, laws, and regulations. Proficiently use applicable technology and software to support and document nursing activities and patient care. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the quality of patient care delivery through innovative and creative problem-solving. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with the South Dakota Board of Nursing. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are preferred: 1+ year of Registered Nurse experience. Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
