**Responsibilities**
As a Lead Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional service to patients, clients, and the laboratory team by supporting call center agents, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Mentoring and guiding team members assigned to support roles, fostering a collaborative and supportive work atmosphere that promotes growth and development.
* Working in a call center environment, ensuring efficient handling of inquiries, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
* Championing safety, compliance, and quality control in all operations, upholding the highest standards in all interactions and processes.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring seamless delivery of laboratory solutions.
* Participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent.
* 1 year of experience working in a call center or in the laboratory, with a strong understanding of clinical laboratory operations and procedures.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, clients, and laboratory team members.
* Top-notch typing proficiency (at least 35wpm), including 10-key, with accuracy and speed.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
**Nice-to-haves**
While not required, the following qualifications and experiences are highly desirable:
* Associate's Degree or Medical Assistant training, with a strong foundation in clinical laboratory sciences.
* 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing, with a deep understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols.
* Data entry experience in a production environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
