**Job Description**
As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data products and features that drive business success. You will work closely with product owners, data analysts, and business partners to translate product backlog items into logical units of engineering work. Your expertise in data engineering will enable you to contribute to the overall architecture, frameworks, and standards for processing and evaluating big data.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Design and implement data products and features in collaboration with product owners, data analysts, and business partners
* Contribute to the overall architecture, frameworks, and standards for processing and evaluating big data
* Translate product backlog items into logical units of engineering work
* Implement distributed data processing pipelines using tools and languages prevalent in the big data ecosystem
* Build tools, user-defined functions, libraries, and frameworks to better enable data flow patterns
* Collaborate with engineering leads and other teams to ensure quality solutions are implemented and technical best practices are defined and followed
* Create and participate in automated unit tests and participate in integration tests
* Use and extend continuous integration and deployment frameworks
* Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis
* Work in teams to resolve operational and performance issues
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Information Systems
* 2 years of experience in the offered position or a computer-related position
* Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
* Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hive, Python, AWS, Apache Airflow, EMR, Data Bricks, and Hadoop
* Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and automated unit testing
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration and deployment frameworks
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services
* Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
* Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques
