With a strong focus on innovation, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence, we are committed to revolutionizing the way short-term rentals are managed. **Job Summary** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our guests and prospective guests across various platforms, including Airbnb, VRBO, and OwnerRez. Your primary objective will be to respond to all guest inquiries and questions in a timely and accurate manner, while also ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with our on-site team. If you are a customer service professional with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities** * Respond to all guest inquiries and questions within 15 minutes with 95% accuracy and within an hour with 100% accuracy during all days/hours (24 hours a day/7 days a week) * Utilize Airbnb, VRBO, and OwnerRez (or OwnerRez when available) to respond to all guest inquiries sent through those platforms * Respond to inquiries sent through our website with pricing and schedule a call with either Gerry/Nicole for questions * Document each inquiry and response in an Excel spreadsheet to measure and track the number of inquiries and conversion rate across all platforms * Screen and schedule guest and prospective guest phone calls for Gerry/Nicole * Avoid phone calls with guests and prospective guests unless absolutely necessary; instead, respond by text/email/messaging to address requests from guests or prospects * Notify Nicole/Gerry when a phone call is needed and obtain availability from guests for a callback * Conduct guest vetting to ensure proper vetting prior to booking, including: + Checking guests with low review scores or a history of complaints + Verifying guests who are attempting to hold an event at the property + Ensuring guests are at least 21 years old * Collaborate with Gerry/Nicole to create cleaning/maintenance protocols that allow all team members to be aware of cleaning status and deploy appropriate maintenance staff as needed * Update calendars and perform other recurring tasks to help improve search rankings **Essential Qualifications** * 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in the short-term rental industry * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in responding to guest inquiries * Proficiency in using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflows **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with Airbnb, VRBO, and OwnerRez platforms * Knowledge of short-term rental industry trends and best practices * Certification in customer service or a related field * Experience with guest vetting and screening processes * Familiarity with cleaning/maintenance protocols and procedures **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in responding to guest inquiries * Proficiency in using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflows **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to: * Develop your skills and expertise in the short-term rental industry * Collaborate with a dynamic and forward-thinking team * Contribute to the growth and success of arenaflex * Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs * Enjoy a competitive compensation package and benefits **Work Environment and Company Culture** arenaflex is a remote-friendly company that values flexibility, work-life balance, and employee well-being.
