**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced customer service representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. Your primary focus will be on coordinating and processing new patient medication orders and reorders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of prescriptions. You will also work closely with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve any issues that may arise during the ordering process.
**Responsibilities**
* Provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy, addressing their concerns and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying and revivifying benefits as necessary.
* Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
* Communicate and collect copay amounts from patients, obtaining authorizations and working with insurance companies to resolve any issues.
* Collaborate with internal teams and healthcare providers to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
* Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
**Schedule**
* Monday through Friday, 11 AM - 7:30 PM EST
* Flexible scheduling may be available to accommodate individual needs and preferences.
**Requirements**
* One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone.
* One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
* One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Six months of experience resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone.
* Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.
**Education**
* Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent.
