**Job Summary:**
As a Customer Service and Sales associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, learning about our products, and selling entire projects to customers. You'll work closely with your Department Supervisor and other associates to maintain a safe and clean shopping environment, and ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide fast, friendly service to customers, assessing their needs and providing assistance to sell entire projects
* Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to drive sales
* Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department
* Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards
* Work safely as not to endanger yourself, co-workers, vendors, or customers
* Collaborate with Department Supervisor and other associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
* Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and sales techniques to drive sales growth
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience; experience in a retail or sales environment preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
* Strong product knowledge and sales skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in a sales or customer service role in a retail or sales environment
* Knowledge of building materials, decor, electrical, flooring, garden, hardware, kitchen and bath, lumber, millwork, paint, plumbing, and tool rental products
* Experience with sales software and technology
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
