As an Area Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce, managing safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. You'll collaborate with various support teams to develop plans to meet business objectives and drive growth. **Key Responsibilities and Job Elements**
* Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results
* Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure seamless operations
* Collaborate with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans to meet business objectives
* Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to perform tasks
* Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts in a fast-paced environment
* Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
* Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
* Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)
**Essential Qualifications**
* 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
* Proven track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
