They are seeking a driven and curious Civil Engineering Graduate to support their federal team, providing planning, engineering, architectural design, and construction management services. The role involves developing site plans and utility designs while ensuring compliance with federal design standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Support our federal team in a hybrid capacity at either our Dallas or Fort Worth, TX office
- Join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery
- Work closely with comprehensive design teams and project managers to gain progressive site design experience and total job understanding
- Develop site plans, utility plans, and grading plans to meet Federal design standards
- Perform watershed analyses and design stormwater management systems
- Implement designs that are compliant with a variety of regulatory code requirements and client standards
- Prepare engineering assessments, calculations, and basis of design reports
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office suite
- At least one relevant internship in with a government agency, municipality, corporate engineering, or consulting firm
- United States Citizenship
- Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate
- Internship experience working on land development projects
