Description
The Recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple locations, ensuring a high-quality pipeline of candidates to support the organization’s rapid growth and ongoing staffing needs. This role develops sourcing strategies, conducts phone screenings, partners closely with hiring managers, and delivers a seamless candidate experience. This role will also support workforce planning and build long-term hiring pipelines for high-volume roles such as coaches, coordinators, and customer experience staff.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruiting for all open requisitions, from intake to offer acceptance.
- Conduct detailed intake meetings with hiring managers to confirm role scope, competencies, and hiring timelines.
- Post, maintain, and optimize job listings across Paylocity, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other job boards.
- Screen resumes and conduct structured phone interviews to assess qualifications, availability, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers, ensure timely feedback, and maintain clear communication with candidates.
Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, community partnerships, and industry networks.
- Build and maintain pipelines for high-volume roles across all gym locations.
- Track market trends and competitor hiring strategies to strengthen sourcing effectiveness.
Hiring Manager Partnership
- Provide hiring managers with weekly updates on candidate pipelines, bottlenecks, and hiring metrics.
- Educate managers on interviewing best practices and ensure evaluation consistency.
- Partner with managers to forecast future staffing needs, especially for new gym openings.
Offer Management & Pre-Hire Coordination
- Prepare and send offer letters in Paylocity, ensuring salary alignment with internal equity and budget.
- Communicate next steps to candidates and coordinate with the HR Coordinator to initiate onboarding tasks.
- Maintain compliance with background checks, certification requirements, and state-specific regulations.
Recruitment Operations & Reporting
- Track key recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, and applicant source effectiveness.
- Optimize job advertisement spend to maximize ROI.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and stages in Paylocity Recruiting.
- Support employer branding initiatives to enhance candidate engagement and retention.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in high-volume or multi-state environments.
- Demonstrated experience with ATS systems (Paylocity preferred).
- Strong interviewing, sourcing, and candidate evaluation skills.
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience recruiting across multiple states and markets.
- Experience recruiting in fitness, youth sports, childcare, hospitality, or service-oriented industries (preferred).
- Knowledge of FLSA, employment law, and multi-state hiring compliance.
- Ability to manage 20–40 active requisitions at a time.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced, multi-location environment.
- May require occasional travel to new gym openings or hiring events.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle or operate office equipment, such as keyboards, phones, and printers.
- Ability to read documents, spreadsheets, and computer screens for prolonged periods.
- Ability to occasionally stand, bend, reach, and lift office supplies or materials up to 25 lbs.
- Regularly required to communicate clearly and effectively via phone, email, and in person.

Salary Description
$75,000 - $80,000 annually
