SAP Material Master Consultant with MDG
Material Master Management • Material Master Management's SAP Best Practice • Work Stream requirement gathering with the business process owners fill in the Business-Driven Configuration Assessment questionnaire. • Based on the answers obtained from the assessment, consultants need to plan/build the Workshop A (System Demo and Presentation Deck) • Requirements Management • Configuration and Documentation • Key Decision Documentation • Process Flows • Authorization and Security • Test planning (Standard and Custom objects) • Change Management • Reporting • S/4 Experience • A&D Experience (for offshore roles nice to have) • Material Data Governance (MDG functional) nice to have • Material Master under the Production Planning (MFG) Module • Understanding of material master structure & key fields, and experience setting up master data to support various business scenarios. • Classification/Characteristics • Interchangeability (FFFC) • Mapping of material masters from legacy systems to SAP • Conversion of material masters from legacy to SAP with troubleshooting • Experience working with Document Info Records and underlying document management systems • Conceptual understanding of product interchangeability and supersession • Functional specification authoring
