Part Time Pet Sitter/Dog Walker

About Pampered Pet Sitting: Founded in 2009, we are a professional, fully insured and bonded pet care business serving many towns surrounding Cherry Hill, NJ. We have a team of 24 amazing and kind employees who work as a true team, helping when they can knowing their team members will step up to help when one of them cannot. We are very flexible with scheduled and planned time off and work with a Family First philosophy, so that our team can be where they need to be for their family, and work when they can around their other commitments in life. Our clients know they can rely on our loving and safe care for their pets as we've built that reputation over the past 16 years. Available Shifts: - Midday (10am ish to 2pm ish) Monday through Friday - Mornings (before work), nights (dinner visits and bed visits), and weekends Requirements: - If you live in or near our service areas Cherry Hill, NJ, Haddonfield, NJ, or Voorhees, NJ that would be terrific. - Reliable automobile and valid driver's license - Passion for working with dogs and cats - Strong communication and time management skills - Prior experience with pet care is a plus, but not required Pet Sitters Responsibilities: • Work weekdays or flexible mornings, dinner visits, bed visits and weekends as needed based on client needs • Must have a smart phone to be able to utilize our scheduling software • Enter the homes of clients and visit with their pets for varying lengths of time (usually 15 or 30 minute visits) • Walk pets as required • Feed pets as needed • Check that pets have ample water supply and refill as necessary • Make sure no damage caused by pets in the absence of their owners • Confirm that if any potty accidents have occurred in the homes of our clients to clean up. • Communicate with clients and with management during visits. • Appropriate pet clean-up as required (i.e. kitty litter scooping when sitting for a cat) • Must be extremely detail oriented. • Able to follow detailed instructions. • Responsible, Reliable and Dependable • Timely and Punctual • Must be able to self manage • Possess excellent written and verbal communication • Must be compassionate about animals. • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
