Job Description: Certified Medical DosimetristJob Type: FulltimeJob Responsibilities: • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and medical physicists to create radiation treatment plans. • Use advanced dosimetry software to design optimal radiation dosages for patients. • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for treatment plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. • Conduct treatment delivery, including the setup and calibration of equipment. • Participate in patient treatments and follow-ups, providing support and education regarding treatment plans and side effects. • Continuously evaluate and improve techniques and procedures to enhance patient safety and treatment efficacy. • Stay updated with the latest advancements in dosimetry and radiation therapy. Essential Qualifications: • Bachelors or Masters degree in Medical Dosimetry or a related field. • Certified by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB). • Strong understanding of radiation safety and technology. • Proficiency in dosimetry software and treatment planning systems. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Desired Experience: • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting as a medical dosimetrist. • Experience working with diverse patient populations and various cancer treatment plans.
