Job Description
Combat Mission Systems (CMS), a business unit within BAE Systems Platforms & Services (P&S), has an opening for a detail-oriented and proactive Work Package Manager. The selected candidate will join our Supply Chain Earned Value Team and have an important role in supporting Supply Chain along with a strong focus on supplier data management. This role is critical to ensure the accuracy, consistency and reliability of Supply Chain Management data.
This new position will provide professional, technical and analytical support utilizing Supply Chain Management tools. This role requires the ability to conduct research and comprehend requirements in alignment with internal policies and procedures.- This role will be remote.
- Upon acceptance, some level of travel for onboarding will be required (1-2 weeks).
- The position is on a 9/80 schedule meaning you will have every other Friday off.
- There may be <10% travel involved after onboarding, primarily for team meetings.
- Pay Grade level 9
Responsibilities include but are not limited to engaging in daily collaboration with internal teams to ensure strict adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. This involves participating in regular meetings with key Supply Chain stakeholders to address supplier data compliance related objectives and challenges.
The candidate will be tasked with identifying areas for improvement within supplier data management processes and proposing actionable ideas to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness in procuring products and services from compliant suppliers. They are expected to become a recognized and trusted leader in supplier data management, demonstrating expertise in regulatory compliance, policy adherence, and supplier management best practices.
The candidate must have the ability to prioritize effectively in response to frequently changing and demanding team requirements. The candidate must be able to work both independently and collaboratively across functions to drive necessary requirements forward.
Other responsibilities include:- Support the Control Account Managers on the respective Projects.
- Support the monthly Battle Rhythm process. These tasks will include running and analyzing monthly data reports, saving these reports on our Drive, Mapping our monthly expenditures, initiating our monthly deliverables, updating monthly reports with our input, ad hoc report requests, assist status program performance and ensuring that the Battle Rhythm is being met.

- Safeguarding our data while ensuring all necessary data, documentation, and compliance requirements are met.

- The ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment through Teams Meetings.

Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance or a related field is preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, FP&A planning or supplier data management
