Territory Sales Lead: Cannabis Operations Platform

Location: New York (Hudson Valley / Capital Region + Regional Territory)Employment Type: Full-Time The Opportunity Trimmr helps cannabis operators solve one of their hardest problems: executing consistently across cultivation, production, and retail with the right people in place. Today, we deliver that through staffing, production support, and brand activation. Now, we're building a platform that connects workforce, operations, and brand execution into a single system; giving operators more visibility, control, and scalability. We're already working with operators across New York and using those relationships to shape what we build next. This is an early sales hire role: sell real services now, help shape the platform for the future, and have a direct impact on growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, takes ownership, and consistently drives results independently. What You'll Do Close and Build RevenueProspect and close new business across staffing, production support, and brand activation. Build strong relationships with cultivators, processors, and cannabis brands. Shape the PlatformIdentify operational gaps and gather feedback from clients to inform product development. Help position early platform capabilities with the right customers. Own Your TerritoryDevelop and execute a regional strategy across New York and neighboring states. Travel to facilities, dispensaries, and industry events (25–50%). Build the Sales MotionRefine messaging, create repeatable processes, and manage pipeline in HubSpot. Maintain disciplined tracking of sales activity. Represent TrimmrAct as a trusted partner to operators and bring a practical, solutions-oriented approach to every interaction. What We're Looking For - Proven ability to generate and close net-new business - Comfortable selling real operational solutions - Ability to understand staffing, production, and brand execution challenges - Demonstrated ability to manage your own pipeline, priorities, and time without relying on a structured environment - Excels in fast-moving, evolving environments with high autonomy - Interest in helping translate hands-on services into tech-enabled solutions - Experience in cannabis, agriculture, staffing, or B2B services is a plus Compensation - Base Salary: $55,000 - Commission: Uncapped, directly tied to revenue generated (no cap on earnings) - On-Target Earnings: $90,000+ - Expenses: Mileage and travel reimbursed Who Thrives Here - Builders who want to turn real-world operations into scalable systems - Sales professionals who like selling solutions that actually get used - People with a high degree of personal agency who can operate independently, stay organized, and consistently produce results without heavy oversight The Bottom Line Cannabis operators are still running critical parts of their business manually: staffing, production support, and brand execution.
