We are seeking an experienced and solution-oriented Technical Lead with strong expertise in Python and Django to lead the development of scalable, high-performance software applications. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a proven track record in full-cycle software development and team leadership. This role involves hands-on coding, architectural planning, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver enterprise-grade solutions hosted on AWS/Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring high-quality code, adherence to best practices, and continuous technical growth.
- Architect scalable and maintainable backend solutions using Python, Django, and microservices patterns.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecyclefrom design and development to testing and deploymentensuring timely delivery of robust applications.
- Design and implement cloud-native applications and services in AWS or Azure environments.
- Work closely with product managers, solution architects, analysts, and UI/UX teams to define system architecture and translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Drive the adoption of modern development practices, tools, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance team efficiency.
- Conduct peer reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure performance, security, and scalability of applications.
- Collaborate with data teams to create APIs and data pipelines that support dashboards and large-scale data visualization.
- Actively contribute to debugging and performance tuning, addressing complex challenges across the codebase.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders, manage expectations, and ensure alignment between technical execution and business goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on Python and Django.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented and functional programming concepts.
- Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Solid knowledge of relational (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (e.g., ReactJS) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and debugging capabilities with the ability to work independently and in team settings.
