Tax & Audit Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Tax & Audit Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance and auditing processes, ensuring adherence to local and federal regulations while providing valuable insights to improve our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement
• Provide tax planning and consultancy services to clients
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline auditing processes
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax and audit roles
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
