Job Description:
• Install, configure, and upgrade computer system hardware and software, with a specialized focus on defect automation between ServiceNow and Jira.
• Design and implement automation strategies that reduce manual effort and improve system synchronization.
• Provide essential operational support for information systems and peripheral equipment, including servers, desktops, and storage devices.
• Manage high-stakes recovery procedures, scheduling, and backups, while actively monitoring critical batch processes.
• Solve standard and routine technical problems by applying industry-standard practices and procedures.
• Collaborate closely with senior team members and project leads, seeking regular feedback to grow your technical expertise and system knowledge.
• Explain technical policies and practices to internal stakeholders to ensure consistent platform usage.
Requirements:
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with up to one year of professional IT experience.
• Foundational knowledge of ServiceNow automation principles and strategic implementation.
• Hands-on familiarity with Jira administration and the mechanics of Jira automation workflows.
• A conceptual understanding of core IT theories, principles, and industry best practices.
• A proactive, "learner's mindset" with the ability to follow complex procedures and deliver accurate results under general supervision.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build stable internal working relationships across technical disciplines.
• High attention to detail, specifically in documenting automation processes and system configurations.
