Job Description Summary ‎  You are the technical heartbeat of your domain. You aren't just a high-level planner; you are a hands-on technical authority who owns the major decisions that shape our systems. You will serve as a force multiplier, elevating the engineers around you by removing technical friction and ensuring that our product roadmap is backed by a scalable, sustainable technical strategy.‎  How will you make an impact & Requirements ‎  Strategic Leadership & Vision - Technical Decision Ownership: Lead and document high-stakes technical decisions, including "build vs. buy" analyses, vendor selections, and architecture overhauls. - Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with UX and Product leadership to translate product vision into a proactive technical implementation strategy. - Roadmap Alignment: Partner with Architects in other zones to identify synergies, prevent "reinventing the wheel," and ensure a cohesive global ecosystem. - Dependency Management: Anticipate and mitigate external technical dependencies for strategic projects before they become bottlenecks. Technical Mastery & Knowledge - Domain Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of the zone’s product roadmap and the inner workings of all systems within your domain. - System Visibility: Maintain full-stack access (GitLab, GCP, Databases, Observability tools) to research, troubleshoot, and optimize operations in real-time. - Tech Debt Stewardship: Proactively track technical debt, communicate its business impact, and ensure its resolution is prioritized within the backlog. Hands-On Execution - Critical Path Contribution: Directly contribute code to the most complex or high-risk portions of our strategic projects. - Design Authority: Build the technical designs for major initiatives and provide oversight/mentorship for the designs of minor projects. - Tactical Problem Solving: Act as the ultimate "unblocker" for engineering teams facing complex technical hurdles that stall progress. Qualifications & Skills - Technical Depth: You can answer 95%+ of technical questions regarding your zone’s systems (and you know exactly where to find the answers for the other 5%). - Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to align technical choices with broader corporate strategy and product goals. - Collaboration: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (UX, Product, Executive leadership). - Mentorship: A track record of acting as a "force multiplier," improving the output and technical growth of the engineers around you. ‎  Compensation: $144,368.00to $216,552.00
