About the position The Senior Project Management Analyst is a key member of the Program Management Office (PMO) within the Interventional Oncology & Embolization (IO&E) division at Boston Scientific. This role supports project management teams across New Product Development (NPD), Clinical, Sustaining, and Integration projects by enabling operational excellence through tools, reporting, analytics, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage tools and processes that support cross-functional project delivery. This role engages directly with stakeholders across the organization and plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing PMO systems, governance, and project portfolio visibility. Responsibilities • Leading and supporting the implementation of a Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system • Acting as the subject matter expert for project code creation, mapping, and closure within the PPM tool • Managing end-to-end process improvement and tool development initiatives for the PMO and R&D organization • Leading continuous improvement efforts for PMO tools, systems, and processes • Supporting annual operating plan activities, quarterly forecasting, cost center mapping, strategic planning, and monthly financial tracking in collaboration with the Finance team • Creating and maintaining portfolio reports and dashboards using business intelligence (BI) tools • Supporting project governance and best practice development across a variety of project types • Coordinating with internal and external developers to enhance existing tools and implement new solutions • Managing PMO SharePoint content and application access for users • Creating and maintaining training materials, templates, and documentation • Supporting ad-hoc requests and special initiatives from the PMO team Requirements • Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering, project management, or a related field • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in engineering product development, manufacturing, project management, or a related discipline • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across a matrixed organization • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment • Strong organizational, communication, and execution skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large data sets Nice-to-haves • Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation • Hands-on experience using Planisware or similar PPM software • Understanding of the Product Development Process (PDP) • Experience managing projects focused on tool creation or process improvement
