Job Title: Sr. Business AnalystLocation: 100% Remote Duration: 1+ Year Long Term ContractJob SummaryThe Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for documenting existing processes, gathering requirements, and providing analysis and strategy to the firm. This individual is a self-starter ready to build an in-depth understanding of the strategies, processes, services, and operations of the firm. The Sr. Business Analyst must be capable of working in a fast-paced IT and business environment with time-sensitive needs and maintain strict confidentiality due to the nature of the position. Responsibilities· Analyze and document existing business and system processes, seeking improvements to streamline and eliminate complexity in existing and planned technology solutions.· Identify and document process improvement opportunities.· Liaise between Business and IT teams.· Develop strong partnerships across the firm to gain a solid understanding of the needs of the business.· Develop good working knowledge of core technical systems’ functions and flow. · Assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies into existing technical systems.· Drive conversations to determine optimal methods to achieve business goals and define where gaps exist.· Facilitate meetings and demonstrate brainstorming/consensus building skills.· Identify ways to increase efficiency, adoption, and customer satisfaction.· Work closely with project managers to prioritize and manage time sensitive projects.· Ability to perform all essential job duties.Minimum Requirements· Bachelor’s degree or 5 to 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 5 years of experience in an IT role requiring extensive business analysis.· Demonstrated business process analysis skills.· Ability to interpret customer business needs and translate them into detailed business requirements for use in project work.· Critical thinking skills and attention to detail.· Advanced written and verbal communication skills.· Ability to adapt quickly to change.· Must work independently, coordinate multiple tasks, and manage time effectively in a remote work environment as well as in the office.· Ability to interact with all levels of business in-person, via remote video, via phone, and in writing.· Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
