Media A La Carte is a boutique social media agency specializing in organic social, content production, and paid social for clients in the luxury beauty, wellness, jewelry, and alcohol spaces. The Social Media Manager will ideate, plan, and execute high performing social media strategies for assigned clients while ensuring quality content and client satisfaction. Responsibilities - Launch, grow, and manage client social accounts by ensuring relevant milestones are set and met - Fully own social and content strategy and editorial planning for all of assigned clients, simultaneously - Project manage assigned client load and deliverables, including strategy, content calendars, copywriting, client meetings, managing the content creation process, and more - Deliver error-free copywriting that is unique to each brand’s voice - Plan and design an aesthetically pleasing Instagram grid in no time - Navigate and leverage tech tools like Later, Google Drive, Slack, and ClickUp on a daily basis - Stay fully up to date with what’s trending in the land of social media by consuming content regularly with intention (not just scrolling - but learning) - Use data and experimentation to optimize and report on performance across all platforms - Advocate for client needs with internal team functions in order to deliver highest quality content - Respond to client emails and communications in a way that makes each of your clients feel like they’re the only ones on your roster - Work on multiple client projects - Meet all assigned deadlines, without exception - Manage your time well, and can create plans to be successful in your work - Analyze social media data to track performance. If a client comes to you with a concern, you have data to back up your answer and a PLAN to test new strategies going forward - Assist on strategy and copywriting for internal marketing of both the Media A La Carte and Studio A La Carte brands - Respond to emails and Slacks within 15 minutes during 9-6pm on weekdays - Keep the team up to date on macro and micro social media trends (Are you seeing a macro shift to content with heavy text overlay? You can’t wait to let the team know.) - Responsibly track all tasks and time through approved software systems - Participate in team meetings and complete ongoing training to continue leveling up your digital marketing prowess Skills - 1+ years of experience working at a social media agency - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Social Media, PR, Communications, or a related field - A true passion for digital marketing and excitement about creating content that tells compelling stories for clients - Experience managing accounts on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok - a MUST - Ability to write grammatically correct, pack a punch short form copy while maintaining multiple brand voices - Experience with Canva and CapCut (Adobe is a plus) and great aesthetic skills - Comfortable in front of the camera - Paid social experience and/or willingness to learn - Detail-oriented and delivering content with zero spelling mistakes - Ability to maintain brand guidelines while being innovative and creative - Ability to develop concepts and content calendars for different clients - Ability to work autonomously without much direction, micromanaging, or oversight - Ability to identify the needs of the company and see where talents fit - Email Marketing experience - Experience using social media scheduling platforms like Later, Planoly, or Hootsuite - Experience with a project management system like ClickUp, Mondays, or Asana - Experience creating content for multiple brands and platforms simultaneously Benefits - Hybrid working schedule, with 2-3 working days a week in-office and 2-3 remote - 3 Weeks Paid Time Off - Paid Time Off for 10 Federal holidays - Remote week over 4th of July - Summer Fridays observed at 3pm between Memorial Day and Labor Day - $200/month health stipend - Reimbursement for company-approved skill-building courses - PTO + health stipend available after the first 90 days Company Overview - We are a full service social media and digital marketing agency based in NYC.
