Responsibilities
• Perform detailed SEO audits and identify priority improvements for clients
• Create and update SEO strategies and roadmaps aligned with client goals
• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis for content planning
• Guide content teams with brief creation, optimization recommendations, and review
• Support or manage Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization
• Collaborate with partners/vendors (e.g., content, link building, BoostAbility)
• Package and present monthly reports with insights and next steps
• Track performance using Google Analytics, GSC, Semrush, and other tools
• Stay current on SEO best practices, AI/automation tools, and algorithm updates
Requirements
• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house)
• Strong grasp of SEO fundamentals: on-page, technical, content, local
• Experience with Semrush, ScreamingFrog, Google Analytics, and GSC
• Ability to write clear, actionable SEO briefs and recommendations
• Comfort working directly with clients and explaining SEO in plain language
• Excellent task management, prioritization, and communication skills
Preferred
• Familiarity with home builder or local service industry SEO
• Experience with AI-assisted SEO workflows
• Schema markup, Core Web Vitals, or GA4 configuration experience
• Understanding of GEO (generative engine optimization) and AI search
