• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tableau Developer with 8–12 years of experience in data analytics, visualization, and business intelligence, with strong healthcare domain expertise.
• The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and analytics solutions using Tableau, transforming complex healthcare data into actionable insights for clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders.
The candidate must haves are as follow…
• Data visualization principles: how to choose the best chart type for the information; how to use alignment, white space, and color to focus and draw attention
• UX design principles: how to make a product pleasant and effective to use by establishing clear visual hierarchy, maintaining consistency, minimizing cognitive load, making interactivity intuitive
• Critical thinking: how to think critically about the ultimate purpose of the dashboard, who will be using it, what question they are trying to answer or problem they are trying to solve, and specifically how we can apply data within that context
• Tableau: how to use Tableau''s Layout settings and how to manage the tool''s design limitations to get the final product as close as possible to the mockup. Expertise with container management, hide/show container functionality, inner and outer padding, DZV, customizing navigation buttons, customizing help/info icons, and generally how to modify all the default chart settings
• Graphic design: how to use basic functions in a design tool such as Figma or Adobe Illustrator to make small modifications to existing button designs, to make basic custom shapes, or to check the specifications within existing mockups (i.e. reference a color, font size, etc.)
Ideally, the portfolio would feature at least 2 dashboard projects including what the final product looked like and some high-level details such as:
• The audience of the dashboard
• The purpose of the dashboard
