Job Summary:
Grover King VFW Post 1115 is seeking a friendly, reliable Remote Member Support Representative to assist veterans, members, families, and community callers. This position provides remote front-desk support by responding to phone calls, emails, and online inquiries. You will be the welcoming voice of our Post, helping connect people with services, events, and support resources.
We offer both part-time and full-time roles with flexible hours, making this a great position for applicants who need schedule freedom while still doing meaningful, community-focused work.
Responsibilities:

Serve as the remote welcome desk for VFW Post 1115

Answer phone calls, emails, and online messages

Provide information on membership, meetings, events, and community programs

Assist veterans and families by directing them to the appropriate Post officers or support services

Support inquiries about hall rentals, donations, volunteering, and Post activities

Maintain a digital log of messages and follow-up needs
-
Coordinate with Post leadership to ensure inquiries are handled promptly

Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Qualification:

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Friendly, professional, and patient

Ability to work independently

Reliable internet and phone access

Basic comfort with email and digital communication tools

Respect for veterans and the mission of the VFW
Preferred:

Customer service or administrative support experience

Experience working with veterans or community service organizations

Familiarity with social media messaging (preferred but not required)
Schedule:
