A workplace that values respect, dignity, and compassion Public Health Nurse (RN) Job Overview: The RN is responsible for planning and delivering nursing care to residents who require long-term and rehabilitative services. Core Responsibilities: ? Follow the Nurse Practice Act and facility policies while exercising professional judgment. ? Assess and evaluate the nursing care provided to residents. ? Implement care plans and monitor residents? responses. ? Supervise and direct the nursing staff in care delivery. ? Assist in the development of care standards and ensure compliance with documentation requirements. ? Uphold confidentiality and respect patient rights. ? Educate patients and their families as needed. ? Conduct oneself in a professional manner according to unit and facility policies. ? Availability for rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. Qualifications Needed: ? Graduate from an accredited nursing program. ? A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a medical/surgical or long-term care setting, preferably in acute care. ?
