This is a remote position.
You will design and build impactful Power BI reports based on SAP S/4HANA data and help turn complex sales and tender information into clear, actionable dashboards for the business.
Tasks
- You will design and develop Power BI reports based on SAP S/4HANA data.
- You will take ownership of the first reporting use case: a Tender Follow Up Tool for spare parts quotations.
- You will translate business requirements into KPIs, reporting logic, and scalable analytical structures.
- You will identify and structure the relevant SAP data needed for reporting.
- You will build a clean analytical data model for effective and future-proof reporting.
- You will create dashboards with KPI overviews, follow-up lists, trend analyses, and drill-down functionality.
- You will analyse topics such as open quotations, hit rates, availability, pricing, and quotation status.
- You will work closely with stakeholders and continuously improve the dashboards in an iterative project setup.
Requirements
- You have a background in Data Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, Operations Research, or a similar field.
- You are fluent in English and comfortable working in an English-speaking project environment.
- You have hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, especially data modelling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard design, and performance optimisation.
- You are able to translate business questions into meaningful KPIs and structured reporting solutions.
- You have a solid understanding of analytical data models, star schema design, and BI architecture.
- You understand how to work with SAP S/4HANA data in an analytical context.
- You have experience with one of the following: SQL, OData, SAP Views, or SAP data extraction.
- You work in a structured and independent way and communicate clearly with business stakeholders.
