Hymns to Her Global Talents is partnering with successful Chinese e-commerce companies expanding their offline presence in the U.S., and we are looking to strengthen our recruiting capabilities to help build their retail operations.
Job Description / Responsibilities
As a Project-Based Retail Recruiter, you will:
• Identify, source, screen, and present candidates for high-volume retail hires
• Recognize and recruit top-tier retail talent, including:
• Business Development “Hunters” – professionals who drive new business, secure key accounts, and develop wholesale/distribution channels
• Operations leaders – professionals who manage stores, teams, and day-to-day operations
• Store Builders – professionals who launch and scale retail locations
• Leverage your industry knowledge and network to find talent across multiple industries: hair, beauty, stationery, furniture, hand tools, robotic vacuums, diamonds, luxury menswear, and more
• Utilize appropriate retail talent channels for both volume hiring and senior-level talent
• Distinguish between sales-focused hunters vs. operational pros
• Collaborate with hiring managers and the Hymns to Her team to deliver quality candidates efficiently
• Demonstrate loyalty, professionalism, and high performance – outstanding recruiters may be considered for long-term or full-time roles
Requirements
• Proven experience recruiting in retail
• Strong ability to identify and source Business Development “Hunters”, Operations leaders, and Store Builders
• Familiarity with U.S. retail hiring channels for both high-volume and senior-level talent
• Self-motivated, independent, and project-oriented
• Loyal, reliable, and committed – able to deliver results consistently
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
