The Production Planner plays a critical role in coordinating the series of activities that enable Saputo to deliver the right products, to the right places, at the right time, at lowest cost. In this role, you will be a leading practitioner of Saputo supply planning processes across product categories and supply networks. How You Will Make Contributions That Matter Responsible for end-to-end planning of finished goods inventory from replenishment orders to customer shipments. Own, improve, and maintain all planning parameters (such as lead time, order quantities, stocking targets, etc) in SAP/APO planning software. Develop inventory plans to support events including launches, promotions, replacements, and seasonality. Execute replenishment orders against internal and external sources. Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as Production Planning, MRP, Transportation, Sales, Sales Ops, Marketing, Category Management and Customer Service on a regular basis. Identify and communicate current and future shortages, as well as recovery plans. Prioritize inventory risk reviews and identify opportunities to mitigate inventory risk. Analyze KPIs including fill rate and loss and identify strategies to improve performance. You are best suited for the role if you have the following experience, skills, and qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field or equivalent work experience required. Minimum 4 years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning or operational inventory management. Ability to proactively communicate and address issues, critical thinking required. Proven analytical, data management, organization and communications skills. Training and experience with perishables and or dairy industry preferred. Previous ERP/SAP experience preferred.
