Principal Consultant, Workday HCM

Job Description: • Lead end-to-end Workday HCM implementations, from discovery through deployment and post-go-live support • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding strategic decisions and aligning solutions to business needs • Drive design sessions and workshops, translating requirements into scalable Workday configurations • Ensure adoption of Workday leading practices while minimizing unnecessary customization • Oversee configuration across HCM functional areas (Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Benefits, etc.) • Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, Finance, Integrations, and Technical teams • Provide leadership and mentorship to functional consultants and project team members • Support data conversion, testing strategy, and user acceptance activities • Identify risks, recommend solutions, and ensure timely resolution of issues • Contribute to project planning, estimating, and scope management • Support business development efforts, including demos, proposals, and client presentations Requirements: • 4+ years of experience in HR systems, with significant experience in Workday HCM implementations • Active Workday HCM partner certification(s) required • Proven experience leading full lifecycle Workday implementations • Strong knowledge of HCM business processes and best practices • Experience working with public sector or enterprise clients preferred Benefits: • 401k • PTO • Thank You Days - four additional paid holidays each year
