I’m looking for an experienced reading specialist, curriculum developer, or interventionist to review and improve a set of UFLI-aligned phonics lessons + anchor charts for early elementary.
This is not a generic “proofread” task. I need someone who truly understands UFLI Foundations and structured literacy, and can spot alignment issues, sequencing problems, and instructional gaps.
You are a great fit if you:
- Use UFLI Foundations in your classroom (or have used it extensively in intervention/small group)
- Are Orton-Gillingham certified (or equivalent structured literacy certification/training)
- Understand explicit phonics instruction, blending/segmenting routines, and cumulative review
- Can give clear, practical feedback that a curriculum team can implement
Required qualifications
- Current or recent hands-on use of UFLI Foundations
- OG certification or similar (examples: IMSE, AIMS Pathways, LETRS + strong structured literacy implementation, Wilson, Barton, Slingerland, Dyslexia Training Institute, etc.)
- Experience teaching K–2 (or K–3) phonics / intervention
- Strong written communication (clear notes, examples, and corrections)
What you’ll review:
A set of anchor charts (phonics routines, sound-spellings, cues, reminders)
A set of phonics lesson plans / digital lessons aligned to UFLI-style routines
How to apply
Please include:
A short note describing your experience with UFLI and structured literacy
Your certification/training (OG or equivalent)
Grade levels you teach/served most recently
A sample of curriculum experience.
Budget
Open to hourly or fixed price. Please propose your rate and how you prefer to work (hourly vs per lesson/set).
