We are GDIT, a leading IT and mission services provider to the government, and we are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Informaticist to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Serve as an expert role model in promoting the understanding, integration, and application of information technology in healthcare settings Design, configure, activate, and support the implementation of Oracle Health EHR (Millennium) solutions at the Indian Health Service Mentor client project teams and provide guidance on project and system build strategy Act as a consulting professional, providing solutions, industry best practices, and technology designs within a product/technology family Consult with clients on service line workflow and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts Provide solution oversight, direction, and expertise to stakeholders Drive client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients Mitigate solution risks and issues and execute workflow and process improvement strategies Lead client meetings and events, and work closely with project leadership on documentation of issues and facilitation of solutions Analyze and monitor workflows, providing documentation and optimization suggestions Engage in evaluation and testing of new technologies Maintain strong communications with project leader, manager, and team leader, as well as other team and staff members, end-users, and vendors Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 8+ years of experience supporting medium to large IT projects Knowledge of Indian Health Services workflows Extensive knowledge and experience with the Oracle Health electronic health record Experience acting as a consulting professional with an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family Experience driving client-specific solution configuration design that meets workflow requirements Experience mitigating solution risks and issues and executing workflow and process improvement strategies Proficient in Microsoft products Ability to travel up to 25% of the year, if needed Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance, which requires residency in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.
