REMOTE, DAYSHIFTJOB DESCRIPTION: Virtual Assistant - Bookkeeping with Administrative AssistanceWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Bookkeeper with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with XERO to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting
principles and a proven track record in using XERO software. This role will be responsible for handling various bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
• Financial Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into the XERO accounting system.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and collections.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Payroll Processing: Process payroll accurately and timely, including calculating taxes and
deductions.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger and ensure its accuracy.
• Compliance: Adhere to all relevant accounting and tax regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
• At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with XERO.
• Familiar with Australia accounting
• Good communication skills
• Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
