Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with a well-established and respected intellectual property boutique law firm firm in its search for a Patent Prosecution Paralegal. This is a remote, full-time, direct hire role, but the candidate must reside in Texas. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of patent prosecution paralegal experience. This is a great opportunity to join a growing IP boutique law firm that has a professional and collegial culture! Duties include but are not limited to: • Assisting with the preparation, filing and prosecution of patent applications; • Auditing and managing portfolios to ensure patent applications are in compliance through the patent prosecution process; • Assisting internally in reviewing and analyzing documents; • Conducting research; • Monitoring deadlines; • Drafting responses to office actions; • Providing general administrative support to attorneys; • Other duties as required to accomplish the patent prosecution process. Qualifications: • In depth knowledge and understanding of the patent prosecution process • Minimum 3-5 years patent prosecution experience, preferably in a law firm, in addition to extensive IP paralegal experience • Ability to analyze documents generated from the USPTO and identify critical deadlines • Ability to generate and edit reports in database • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects • Strong attention to detail • Strong organizational skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills; team player • Microsoft proficiency • Strong technical skills; formal technical training is a plus Salary: Starting at approximately $75K, commensurate with experience, but could go higher depending on experience.
