Basic Job Description:
The Transport Driver plays a key role in our work of transporting clients to needed care within and outside our contracted area. They are often the only in-person representative of the company, providing excellent customer service to facility staff, clients, and family members.
This full-time position is remote with a fluid block schedule. Car and software are provided; PTO, healthcare benefits, and 401(k) are available.

***12 HOUR SHIFTS, 4 DAYS ON, 3 DAYS OFF ROTATION***
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Long- and short-distance driving, coordinating routes and schedules with dispatchers.

Retrieve and secure clients and personal belongings for trip to destination facility.

Maintain detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and company policies, submitting monthly to Field Supervisor.

Ensure mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected promptly, reporting defects, accidents, and violations immediately.

Perform daily maintenance of vehicle (refueling, cleaning, snacks/water, etc.)

Interact with facility staff, clients, and family members in a professional manner.

Address problems and create solutions, collaborating with Dispatcher and elevating problems to Field Supervisor when necessary.

Enter data into Samsara system, maintain logs of calls, incidents, miles driven and more, submitting reports monthly to Field Supervisor.

Work collaboratively with Director of Operations and Field Supervisors to update and maintain a list of facility contacts.

Drive excellence by creating efficiencies that will reduce the arrival time for transports (under the 2-hour maximum). Report all overages to Field Supervisor.
