Job Description:
• Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, zoning regulations, land use issues, and property‑related matters
• Perform title searches, review title commitments, and identify potential defects or encumbrances
• Draft correspondence, memoranda, and summaries of research findings
• Coordinate with title companies, lenders, surveyors, and municipal offices
• Assist with due diligence for commercial and residential transactions
• Maintain organized case files and track deadlines
• Support title examiners/title officers with general administrative and title search‑related tasks as needed
Requirements:
• Paralegal certificate or relevant legal studies degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in real estate law, title work, or legal research
• Strong understanding of property records, land use concepts, and real estate transaction processes
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with legal research tools and real estate software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, title platforms)
